After examining the evidence, researchers found no meaningful negative effects in any of these areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is important because it directly addresses some of the most common concerns that have been raised when it comes to fluoride. Over the years, some (now disproven) studies have suggested a possible link between very high levels of fluoride exposure and lower IQ scores in children. However, those studies were largely conducted in regions where naturally occurring fluoride levels in the water were significantly higher than those used in community water fluoridation in the United States.
